Seal Proof double-acting cartridge seal — back-to-back seal pair in one cartridge with barrier fluid ports.

Overview

A balanced, back-to-back double-acting cartridge unit operated with a pressurised barrier fluid, independent of direction of rotation.

Used on petrochemicals, general chemicals and light hydrocarbons and their vapours. The inboard secondary seal is PTFE or GFT; the outboard secondary seal is elastomer.
