Mechanical Shaft Seals
Multi Spring Seal
Slip-on hydraulically balanced seal in types 707 and 808, interchangeable with conventional seals.
Description
A directly slip-on, hydraulically balanced seal design offering near-universal interchangeability with conventional seals and gland packings, without modification to the pump or gland.
Because no seal-induced shaft damage occurs, the hidden maintenance cost of shaft and sleeve repair or renewal is avoided. A high degree of standardisation keeps the price below conventional seals, and a uniform installation dimension across all sizes makes handling easier.
Two application-data sets are published: seal type 707 and seal type 808.
